World Cord Blood Day

November 10, 2018 Posted by robtolleson

Join us in celebrating World Cord Blood Day on November 15th by making a gift to the Cord Blood Bank of Arkansas. Your donation will support the education of clinicians and families on the importance of cord blood.

Currently, cord blood is being used to treat over 80 different life-threatening diseases such as leukemia, lymphoma and sickle cell anemia. It is also proving critical to areas of regenerative medicine to potentially treat spinal cord injuries, cerebral palsy, autism, type 1 diabetes and much more. However, in the majority of births worldwide, cord blood is thrown away as medical waste. Education is vital to saving lives.

Your generous gift today will have an impact well into the future.
